Pop The Tabs for Ronald McDonald House

Have you ever wanted to do something small that makes a big difference? Well, now you can!

If you drink beverages served in an aluminum can, take 2 seconds from your day and pop off the aluminum poptop ring from the top of the can. Save them in a sandwich baggie. When you have 12 or 24 put them in an envelope (inside the plastic baggie please) and send them to us. Our goal is to collect 50 pounds of pop tabs during 2006. As of 10/23/06 we have collected 10 pounds of pop tabs.

On January 1, 2007, we will donate all collected pop tabs to the Galena, IL Middle School who will send them on to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald House provides housing and meals to parents of children who are recieving treatment. Without the support of Ronald McDonald House Charities, many children would have to face the frightening experience of treatment without a parent there for comfort.
