The AFA Project: Beginnings

Participation in this project has helped to teach all of us about the importance of philanthropy. Each has learned that anyone--with no regard to age, ability, finances, or geographical location has the power to make a significant difference. Her small idea has grown beyond our original vision--into something greater than the sum of all its parts.

Our donors are men, women, children; blind and sighted (yes there are blind crocheters); hearing and deaf; wealthy and poor, beginners and experts; and every one of them, from near and abroad, has poured thier best wishes, prayers, and heart into every sitch. Some people donate materials, others time and some provide much needed financial support for postage, website hosting, and other operating expenses. Each contribution is valuable, as the Project is only made possible by the continued support of donors and sponsors. In return for their generosity, every one of our donors gets an individual thank you, signed by Nala, for the gift made to her project.

Even if you aren't making a donation, drop us a note by email or by postal mail to let us know you found us. Nala enjoys reading the mail she gets from people all over the world! We'd love to hear from you. God bless, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
